Overall Shepherd Sock Rating: (4.8 based on 379 reviews) |
Rating: (5 out of 5) |
| This is my favorite go-to sock and other fingering yarn project yarn bar none. The special monthly colors are always a fun treat as well. If I had the space and cash, I'd buy them all. |

| I wore a pair of basic ribbed socks that I knit with this yarn, and it has felted beyond recognition!! I am so disappointed :( |

| The absolute best sock yarn I have found! |
Rating: (4 out of 5) |
| The Slushy Facial colorway knits up into a muddy color when knit into a basic ribbed sock. I think the color repetitions are too close together. But I love, love, love!!! the feel of the yarn in my fingers. Soooo soft! |

| I love Lorna's laces. There are never unexpected joins in their yarn. They feel lovely and are a pleasure to knit with |
Rating: (2 out of 5) |
| Lorna's Laces yarns are consistently excellent, and this skein was no exception. However, the special edition variegated colorway I ordered was just awful! It had been described, and pictured, as sno-cone colors. In reality, the colors seem like a throwback to the 1970s -- harvest gold, avocado green, pumpkin orange, camel tan, and a very dull turquoise and an even duller grayish-plum. I had planned to mix these sherbet-y colors with white for a light and bright striped pair of knee socks. I won't waste the yarn but it will definitely go into a nothing special kind of project now. |
