If you could card butter, spin it, and then knit with it, this is what you would get! Easy to work with, good stitch definition, and, as always, gorgeous colors!!

I purchase Shephard's worsted because there are few yarns so soft and fluffy. The Angora and Silk of Honor are warm and very formal looking, so it creates an impressive lace knit product. The slushy face colorway, however, looked like there was a little more pink, rather than orange--I suppose I should have selected a different colorway. It is a nice yarn, the thumbprint of a sample online just made it look different than the actual product.

I love the color, softness, etc., but man oh man was this ever the dickens to wind. Out of the 4 hanks I purchased, 3 of them were nigh on to impossible to get off the swift. One had to be rolled by hand and then re-rolled on the yarn winder. What would normally take a short period of time to do took literally nearly 12 hours. :(
