I almost didn't get these dpn's because they cost more than the bamboo, but decided to treat myself because it's Christmas time. I just love them! They're so soft and smooth, and so much harder than the bamboo. Sometimes the bamboo dpn's feel like they're flexing, and these Rosewood needles don't feel like they will. My knitting is faster because they're so smooth, too. In the future I'll be buying another set of the other hardwood dpn's. They're great!

These are the perfect sock needles as far as I'm concerned.  Other dpns  I've used were just too long for socks and it seemed to take too much time to move my knitting to the ends. These fit perfectly in my hands and the wood is just beautiful.  I love the rosewood so much that I ordered the ebony and blonde also.
