Just go ahead and get them! When I learned to knit I started out with the inexpensive needles. Who could possibly justify spending that on some knitting needles? Well, you can knit with the inexpensive ones, but I wasted so much money purchasing those other kinds! Just try a pair of the Lantern Moon Ebony wood needles. Many times you can get them on sales at Jimmy Beans Wool. Even if you don't, just try a pair. They are the best! You will never need to get another kind, therefore, you save money in the long run! Just get them - You deserve them and will love them!

When I first started knitting a few years ago I purchased various needles, starting with the less expensive ones first. If I would have known what I know now! I really could have saved myself a lot of money and trouble! I know it is an investment to go with the Lantern Moon Needles, but in the long run you will be glad you did. As I said, you will actually save money by not buying all those other ones you end up not using. If you like wooden needles, give these a try. Once I did I was hooked! The feel of them when you knit is unbeatable!
