Very Nice 5 out of 5 (5 out of 5)
I'm not a very experienced lace knitter, but I try! I knitted the Strangling Vines scarfon Ravelry on US #4 needle with this in the Silky Alpaca Lace yarn, but used a nice light green, not the Hand Paint. It turned out nicely, very soft, and fun to knit with. If I had a #3 needle at the time, I think it would have turned out a wee bit nicer for stitch definition, but I am still VERY happy with it. Choosing a pattern for the Hand Paint that I have will be tricky because of the variegation I it, Terra Nova. The colors showed up as being more subtle on my monitor. The colors are actually quite saturated and defined. It is still lovely, and I can't wait to knit with it!

Beautiful "Before and After" 4 out of 5 (4 out of 5)
I used this yarn to knit "Before and After" by Churuchmouse. It works really well for this pattern. It's not as soft as Helen's Lace or Gaia and doesn't have the spring of either, but I think the Classic Elite is perfect for this pattern. It's kind of like it has a teensy bit of wire in it (like some of the Habu), though I know it doesn't. I also like that the joins are very smooth. No thick and thin spots. No knots.
