This playful beret makes the most of one precious skein. A little touch of beading "gilds the lily". And the knitting is easy-peasy -even with the beading rows you might get one finished in an evening or two. With all that, plus a shape that is timeless and flattering, this little beret makes the perfect gift.

Fast project
(5 out of 5)
This loop went together fast and easy right up to the grafting part for me. I'd never done it, now I know to leave those grafting weaves REALLY loose so you can go back and tighten them like a corset at the end. I used the Madelinetosh Prairie Yarn in Baltic. Its not a brushed or fuzzy yarn but it came out nice regardless. Can't wait to start more of these for Christmas gifts using a Mohair!
I really admire the ingenuity of the stitch change. It happens just when you pull it up on your head cuz you're getting colder! Mushishi evergreen- YUM!
I saw this scarf pattern and had to have it! I have it on the needles and cannot put it down! So much fun to see how the colors of the yarn interact with each other! This scarf will be a wonderful addition to my wardrobe!
I was so pleased by the quality of the paper the pattern was written on, the rich color, and clarity of the directions. It was wonderful in every way. Made me want to begin knitting immediately. Thanks.
