| I bought this yarn in Forest from a LYS to make a Turn a Square beanie for my stepfather for Chrismas. I paired it with a solid dark brown. I love the hat! I'm keeping it for myself and will knit a second for him. |

| I really like this yarn! It is a single, so comes apart because that's what singles do... Brown Sheep, Noro Kureyon, all of them tend to pull apart. Cascade's Casablanca actually feels sturdier to me than other yarns of this structure.
That said, I also really like the end result of the fabric, too. It makes nice dense wooly knitting, and the color chages are gradual & lovely. I am making clutches, and other items not intended for next to skin wearing. The knit fabric isn't likely to pill too much, and will be durable for normal wear. I plan to knit a lot more with it! |

| This is such a fun skein to work with! It was really hard to find, both in any local yarn store and on-line, so I was very happy to have Jimmy Beans Wool carry it! I love knitting with it to watch the colors change and the pattern develop. I'm actually going to buy more of it, for future projects...it's got such an earthy feel to it. |

| Jumped on this right away-love cascade yarn and the colors are beautiful (esp.) Poppy Fields. Downloaded the patterns specific for this yarn-then had a hard time finding one that looked good in the advised guage and needle size. And as previous reviewer stated-it does come apart very easily. If it would not make it too costly, would advise two skeins held together and a size nine needle. I can't afford to do that-so guess this is one Cascade yarn I will have to write off. Boo Hoo. |

| Soon as it became available at JBW I ordered a skein of red to make a scalloped cowl. I used the free pattern from the Cascade website. Anyway, I really tried to give this yarn a fair chance! First off, it is not soft to the touch. So I figured once it's blocked it will soften up. Then as I start to wind it I notice how fragile the yarn is. You could actually pull it apart in pieces with not much effort. I went ahead and made my cowl. I just didn't knit very tight for fear of it breaking. The cowl came out lovely, the color variations are beautiful. Unfortunately, it didn't soften up after a nice soak and blocking. I'm thinking maybe I got a bad skein. I might purchase again, but I would definately have to have it in my hand to check out the quality. |
