Overall Addi Lace Needles Rating: (4.9 based on 19 reviews) |
Rating: (5 out of 5) |
no snag, tips are pointy enough for tiny stitches but not too pointy. use care...my needles were draped over a chair you'd never do that though! and were stepped on. yes, stepping on them bends them but they bent back. addi's are $$, but paying abount $7 extra for needles isn't a big deal over the life of their use. to me.

After 6 years of knitting, I now have quite the collection of circular needles. I won't list all of the brands, but suffice it to say that I have just about all of the ones that are available. By far, the Addi Turbos and Addi Lace needles are the best. They have the best joins and cords- and the weight of the needles is perfect. The Addi Lace have the better tip - especially for lace knitting. However, the brass reacts with my skin and creates a metallic smell which is somewhat off-putting. From reviews that I have read, along with talking to other knitters, it appears that not everyone experiences this issue.

Not only do I love Addi Circular Needles, I really love the lace needles. The pointer tip make even faster knitting.

Metal needles are the best. and you cannot beat Addi Needles. They are slick and the yarn slides effortless across them.

The extra sharp tip in the larger sizes comes in handy when working lace. The gold tip gives you a little more grip then their regular needles when you are working with slippery yarn and metal needles.

i love all addi needles but the lace are great for the finer yarns

I've always been a fan of the Addi Needles but the Lace needles are great. The extra sharp tip helps with the K3 tog's. Since the gold tips aren't quite as slick as the regular tips there's no problem with knitting with slick yarns and Addi Needles.

Just what I was looking for: smoother than bamboo, pointier than the Addi Turbos and not as slick. These needles give excellent control for cables or complicated stitches, not just lace, and are great for general knitting as well.

Addi needles are the best for quick knitting. I really like the Lace ones-they have a fine tip, yet hold the fine laceweight yarn without slipping. They are great! Worth the price as far as I am concerned!
