Just what I needed!
I needed a hat with a pattern that could be considered historical from the 1800's. This pattern fit the bill. It's really easy, and because I have to make 15-19 of them... I'm teaching myself to throw Continental so it will move along quickly. What a great project to put that in motion. Cascade 220 is a perfect yarn for this project.

Classy Hat Made Easy!
This is a really classy hat. I'm knitting it as a gift for a classy lady - my sister! The repeat pattern is three lines long. The band around the face is picked up after the edges are brought together. It's an easy and fast project. Small amount of yardage and straight needles. I'm using Cascade Dolce yarn. The alpaca/wool blend and rich burgandy color make for a great combination for this hat.

Easy to knit, adorable to all!
This pattern is so easy and fast to whip up. Everyone, including guys, get a twinkle in their eyes when they see it. I can hardly wait for the little guys I knit them for to see and wear them at Christmas. Beginners through advanced knitters will enjoy this pattern.
