It's 2019, which means that we are officially beginning our first installment of Jimmy's Knit Club! We love how this cowl can be turned to make specific colors more or less prominent... you can decide, based on your mood or outfit of the day!

This 3-month progressive project kicks off this month, and will be completed in March. Close to our home state, just west of us on the other side of the stateline, lies Paradise, California. Recently devastated by the Camp Fire, our hearts, thoughts, and good wishes go out to all those affected by this tragedy. Wanting to help, Laura (a.k.a. Jimmy) recently reached out to her friend, Saremy, at Chicken Boots. Saremy is based out of Chico, CA, and her family, like so many others, lost everything in the Camp Fire.

When Laura asked Saremy how Jimmy Beans could best help, she told her to send yarn to crafters in the area who were affected. We sprang into action, putting together 20 knit kits that could be gifted to crafters who lost everything, including their stash. These kits were sent to HeartStrings Yarn Studio in nearby Chico, CA for distribution to Camp Fire survivors.

While we know that it is just a tiny drop in the bucket, we do hope that it will bring moments of happiness and joy to recipients. We continue to send love to anyone and everyone affected!
