Our Praia Pattern is Perfect for Spring!
Quechua, Quinoa, Regatta... the whole Enchilada!

Here at Jimmy Beans, we'd be lying if we didn't say we were getting a little tired of the cold weather. We're REALLY looking forward to spring and decided to put our needles to work on some warm weather projects. We hope you'll join us... maybe our collective knitting energy will bring the sun back out! Just in case it doesn't, Nadia's sun-seeking mind wandered to memories of Italy and the fashion world in her latest blog post and it's a must-read!

First up in our wishing-for-warmth lineup is the Praia Cowl knit in Berroco Regatta. This yarn's bulky weight knits quick, but your finished products will remain light and airy (especially when paired with summery dresses and tank tops!). It also adds flair to on-the-go sporty looks, as seen from Patti's version modeled on the "Queen of Athleisure", Nadia!

|
Next up is the Berroco Quinoa Davit Top. This elegant top has a surprise feature in the back - two pieces that are crossed for an elegant wrap effect! We're really digging the Berroco Quinoa yarn's thick-and-thin marled appearance and unique texture!

Free Patterns!

The Quechua Ceridwen Shawl uses Berroco Quechua, a combination of merino wool, alpaca, and yak fibers in a sport weight. It's light and pleasantly soft, so we think it's just perfect for a season-transitioning shawl project!
|

The
Carra Pullover is a simple pattern that's as gorgeous as it is easy to knit. The Berroco Modern Cotton used is soft and drapey, machine washable, and ideal for spring weather!

LickinFlames Yarn Bowls by Jim Atchison
We met Jim at TNNA this year, and we were blown away by the quality and intricacy of his hand made yarn bowls. He's joining us as an instructor at our retreat this year, and even though he's a potter, Jim can really spin a yarn! Check out our Meet the Makers series video to learn more about Jim and his process, and don't forget to grab one of his beautiful hand made yarn bowls before they're gone!
