It's about time to get ready for the newest season of Game of Thrones, and the anticipation is killing us! If you are as anxious as we are to find out what's been brewing up North since last season, then this month's Lorna's Laces Limited Edition color - Beyond the Wall - is perfect for the occasion! For this month's LLE, we envisioned a color as icy and cold as the eyes of a mysterious White Walker. This color is available in all of your favorite Lorna's bases and would work up into a frigid and frosty knit to celebrate the release of season seven!
 To continue this celebration, join designer Rachel Roden as she hosts her Beyond the Wall MKAL beginning on July 16th! Rachel will post new clues for all participants as every new episode is released so you can knit while you watch. This MKAL calls for two skeins of Lorna's Laces Solemate in the new Beyond the Wall color, and by the end of the season you'll have a gorgeous mystery project to enjoy! With Memorial Day just passing and the 4th of July only being a month away, what a perfect time to begin whipping up some red, white, and blue projects for the holiday! We teamed up with the ever-so-talented Christopher Salas and we are proud to present the Americana Shawl kit. This stunning shawl is worked up using two skeins of Swans Island Ikat Fingering Onesies in the colors Sunset and Stonewashed, and we love how the Ikat dyeing technique gives the yarn a rustic and vintage feel. Chris was over the moon about working with these two colors together, and he created a version of his newly released Night Shift pattern to produce this one-of-a-kind, patriotic shawl.

Although Father's Day is right around the corner, it's still not too late to knit up something special for the father figure in our lives. To treat dad like the wonderful man that he is, we think some Lotus Cashmere yarn is in order!
