Ready, set, submit! If you or a yarn-y student you know are looking for financial support for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year, listen up, the Beans for Brains scholarship is now ready for applications!

This scholarship is open to all students with a 3.0 GPA or higher who knit, crochet, and/or weave attending an accredited institution of higher education this fall. Thanks to generous donations from Jimmy Beans Wool, Madelinetosh, Urth Yarns, and Cascade Yarns (plus additional support from Berroco Yarns, katrinkles, and della Q), we will be awarding FIVE awards this year. Make sure to apply early, we are capping the applications at 500.

Our limited edition Beans For Brains Madelinetosh colorway is back just in time for our daydreams of warm spring weather! Our Bean, Alex is staying cozy this winter in her Sweater No. 11 designed by My Favourite Things! When she came across some skeins of Tosh Merino Light in the color Horn she fell in love with this cream color and the flecks of warm color throughout.
