| Rollin' in Rowan + Our Fave CALs & KALs!
A year ago, when we found out Lantern Moon was coming back under the care of Knitter's Pride, it was probably the best news we could've ever received to start out the New Year!
Throughout 2022 we fell in love all over again with their luxurious products and couldn't be happier to have them as a staple in our needle and hook rotation again! Now in 2023, they're back with all new sets that have us eager to jump into our project queues for the year!
To start off the new line of products are four incredible interchangeable sets plus a handsome hook set!
Each needle tip of these sets is made from liquid silk finished ebony wood that effortlessly glides your yarn as you work! 24K plated brass connectors ensure a smooth join between the cord and needle tips. The sets are offered in 4" and 5" tips and include two sizes of cords. With sets varying from including 5-7 tip sizes, there are a range of options to choose from for your knitting preference!
The Radiance Single Ended Crochet Hook Set contains 6 of the most popular hook sizes that are as easy to work with as they are to look at!
Crafted out of the same ebony wood as the needles, these hooks offer a snag-free glide to make your crochet experience as seamless as possible!
Made with the historically significant to India Khadi silk, each of the zippered cases these sets come in keeps your precious needles and hooks safe and sound!
To add to their line-up of adorable handmade accessories, Lantern Moon also introduces a collection of the cutest crocheted tape measures! Perfect for spring, these tape measures will brighten up your day and project bags! Choose between the lovely Lady Bug, fantastic Fish, or the sunny Sunflower (or maybe all three?) to help keep you on gauge and measured up!

When you lay your head down at night and fall asleep, do you have visions of soft and stunning skeins dancing around in your stash? When you dream of all the yarn you are going to make with this year are you thinking about sock? DK weight? Maybe even mohair?! Our Beans have started making our lists of yarns to knit and crochet with this year and we've decided Rowan is one of our brands we have our eyes on!
We love rainbows around here, so when we first laid eyes on the Rowan Kid Silk Haze Shade Packs, we were OBSESSED! These packs remind us of taking a trip to the candy store and walking out with a colorful bag of treats!
This yarn is a dreamy blend of kid mohair and soft silk that creates a fabric as light as air and as soft as a newborn kitten. Each kit includes six sumptuous balls in a bright gradient of colors that we are dye-ing to get our hands on along with a free written knit pattern for a scarf!
To cap off our list of fibers we're reaching for is the beloved Rowan Felted Tweed. Made from a blend of Merino wool, alpaca, and viscose, each 190 yard hank is a delight to squish!
We're currently in love with the Colorwork Cap designed by Churchmouse Yarn & Teas using this yarn. The classic stranded colorwork of this beautiful beanie is not just fun to wear but a blast to knit!
Now is the time to get your Rowan fix! Prices on their yarns will be going up in the coming weeks so stock up while you can!

Crochet and Knit Along in 2023!
What is your New Year's Resolution?! We asked our Beans and their top answers were to learn new skills and connect with more like-minded fiber artists! Start your year off right with a knit or crochet along to introduce you to new techniques and get to know others while working on the same pattern!
For our crocheter's... The Scheepjes Colour Lab Crochet-A-Long wait is almost over - the first part of the pattern gets released NEXT WEEK!
Have you been eyeing this blanket but feel a tad intimidated? While it can be enjoyed by adventurous beginners and expert crocheters, we want to let you know you are not in this alone!

Itchin' to get something new on your needles?! Blue Sky Fibers has your first 2023 project picked out with their upcoming Knit-A-Long! Using squishy skeins of Woolstok Tweed, you can create your own Ely Capelet!
At Jimmy Beans HQ we've been socked in with winter weather recently and we think this piece is perfectly cozy for all the snow days we may have coming up!
This KAL officially starts January 9 and runs through March 31! When you purchase a kit, you will receive a free download code for the Ely Capelet pattern. So the question is, of the stunning speckled colors of Woolstok Tweed, which are you choosing to make this piece your own?!
