Picot Cast On
The Picot Cast On is a pretty, textured cast on that can be paired with a Picot Bind off to liven up the edges on your projects.
To make a Picot Cast on:
Cast on 5 stitches using the knitted cast on method
* knit two stitches
bind off two stitches using a regular bind off
You will have one stitch remaining on the right-hand needle. Place this stitch back onto the left-hand needle.
Cast on 4 stitches (you will now have 8 stitches on your left needle)
repeat from *
That's a Picot Cast on! Use it, enjoy it. Give a little flair to your knitting!
