Our very own Jeanne stars in this knitting instructional video demonstrating how to attach a pom pom. We hope you enjoy it!
How to attach a pom pom
A pom pom is a great accent for any knitting or crochet garment or accessory. Jeanne shows us how easy it is to attach one to your work using a cool little trick she just learned.
Thread your tapestry needle and create a slip knot at the tail end. Leave the slip knot open.
Starting at the back of your work, pull the threaded tapestry needle through your piece until the slip knot is a couple of inches away from the back of your work.
Take your tapestry needle back through your work to the wrong side and through the slip knot at the end of the tail and pull the yarn through until it tightens.
Pull the slip knot to tighten the loop around your thread.
There you have it! A simple secure method for fastening pom pom or other embellishments to your knitting or crocheting.
Have fun!
