Nice feel
The Maizy has nice spring to it compared to other plant fiber yarns. There have been complaints about it being a bit splitty. That wasn't a big concern for me. I did a shawl for a friend with it, and really liked the drape and feel of the finished fabric.

Great smooth needles that stay attached
The finish on these allows even mohair to slide well w/o being overly slippery. I like the size of the needle before the cable begins - enough to hold comfortably. The points are not as sharp as lace needles, but crisp enough to do fairly fine work. The fastener system is brilliant. I have some screw-in interchangeables from anothe company that constantly come undone. These are a very firm hold and the join is no problem for yarn to slide over. Love them.

Mountaintop Partridge
I bought some of this from Woolwatcher, and am knitting a hat with it. Nice yarn! Substantial w/o being scratchy. It feels durable, and has a "real wool" feel to it that is very appealing. Easy to knit - not splitty, nice firm ply. Wish I'd bought more at the sale price. Looks good.

dry, splitty, not much spring
I bought several colors on sale, thinking the silk content would make it wonderful. This yarn feels dry, is loosely plied and splitty, and even more so if you have to frog anything. Not my favorite. Hoping it will wash up and wear well as a redeeming feature.

Great needles
I love the Addi Lace 47 needles for magic loop socks. Needles are sharp enough to pick up fingering yarn for fancy stitches, and the 47 length makes it less likely that I'll pull the loop in accidentally and lose the separation between the front and back of the socks. Fast needles.
