Bethany's Noro Cap-Sleeved Cardi Vest for Penne

Bethany wanted to knit something for Penne to wear since she has out grown most of her handknit sweaters, so she chose this great layering piece, the Girls Cap-Sleeved Cardi Vest Pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple. She chose the Noro Kama yarn since the colors are fun and stripey. Bethany knits a bit loose so she went down a couple of needle sizes from what the pattern calls for. She knit the smallest size, knowing that the result might be a bit large so that Penne could grow into it. She was right and the result was closer to a size 4 which is fine because she should be able to wear it in a year or so! We love the super cute Owl buttons she chose! Nice work Bethany!
