Skye's Ruby Red Heart Hat in Malabrigo Dos

Skye knit this sample up for the retail store because she thought the Malabrigo Dos would work really well for the pattern. Turns out she was right and the result is a super soft merino wool beret that looks cute in any color. The pattern, Ruby Red Heart Hat, is a freebie on our website. Skye used a US size 4 needle with the Dos, but wishes she had gone up a needle size. That is one thing to always keep in mind when using a different yarn than the pattern calls for. Always do a swatch to figure out if the needle size works both with the yarn and the pattern. Either way, we think this version turned out really cute and love how light and airy the Dos is when knit up! Thanks to Terry, our Creative Instructor, for modeling in a pinch!
