I fell in love with the
Crashing Waves Pattern by Grace Akhrem as soon as I saw it and had to make it. I used some stash fingering weight yarn I had to make the shawl. I think
Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light yarn would be great for this pattern. I loved this pattern so much that I am going to make it again in the larger version with some
Lorna's Laces sock yarn that I have in my stash! The pattern looks more challenging than it is and if you have done lace (even the simplest pattern) then you should give this a try. I used stitch markers and kept close track of my rows and would have liked a chart, but I found the written directions just fine. Thanks Grace Ahkrem for such a great pattern!!
