I fell in love with these fingerless gloves several months ago when we had the Jade Sapphire trunk show. This
Jade Sapphire Mongolian Cashmere 4-ply Yarn is positively luscious, and so nice to knit with! I knitted these in one sitting, and found that the only downfall to this yarn is that after a few hours of constant knitting, there was a bit of purple residue left on my fingers, which isn't a surprise when knitting with colors as rich and saturated as this one. The
Getting Purly With It Elegant Lola Pattern called to knit the gloves on straight needles, but I knit them in the round because I never want to seam if I can help it! I cast on two fewer stitches than the pattern called since I was knitting in the round. When I got to where I wanted the thumb hole to be, I just knit back and forth (rather than continuing in the round) for about 12 rows. To top it all off, I went rummaging through my Mamma's buttons and found a perfect pair for this project!
