I made this pattern for my husband, Andre. He picked out the colors (
Madelintosh Merino DK in Plaid blanket) and the cabling pattern. I used the glove pattern from
The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns by Ann Budd. The pattern started off with a k2,p2 ribbing with an added cable where the thumb gusset starts. I used
US 4 DPNs (but I am really a loose knitter) and
cable needles. I love the striping effect of this yarn!
