Traditional mukluks are made from seal skin and worn in the Arctic. While Jeanne's
mukluks don't fit the tradition, they do fit her feet (yes, that's where they are supposed to be worn, not on the hands. Silly Jeanne (: ). They're also super cozy and (according to Jeanne) very easy and fun to knit! She used the wool based
Lamb's Bride Bulky to make sure they're nice and warm for the coming chilly months. Jeanne made the large short version, but you can add a bit more yarn and make the longer version to warm your legs too! For the double points needed in this pattern, Jeanne recently bought some of the new
