Pleated hat

Sandy just had to crochet this darling little hat from Kathy Merrick's book Crochet in color. It uses a DK weight yarn and she chose the Lorna's Laces Swirl DK in Huron for this fun project. The style of this hat is remenisint of a different day and age for hats. You can add a button, brooch or even a feather to this hat for a touch of whimsy.
