When we got the Hand Maiden Casbah yarn in I had to dive in feet first and do my second personl footprint! This yarn is amazing and I decided to knit up a pair of special socks for myself I am such a greedy knitter and this yarn was just what I needed. With it's blend of super wash merino, nylon and cashmere how could I go wrong. I chose the Banded Rib from Barbara Walkers first book A Treasury of Knitting Patterns and modified it a bit to give me the look I wanted. I used the magic loop so I would have to wait to knit my second sock and could wear them right away. I used a picot hem for the top and am completely in love with these socks!
