Most people choose to make a scarf or a cowl as their first project when they decide to learn how to knit. Our Bean, Alex, though? She had her eyes on a bigger prize. Jumping in headfirst (needle first?), she made this scrumptiously squishy sweater. Yeah, a SWEATER! She quickly got to work using Rowan Selects Softest Merino Wool and a pattern entirely out of garter stitch! Her stitch definition is fabulous, and now we're starting to wonder if she is secretly an expert in disguise!
Great job, Alex! We can't wait to see what you make next!!

This project used 5 balls of shade 0012 Laurel. We don't currently carry this yarn, but Malabrigo Mecha and Madelinetosh Home are great substitutes!
