I was originally going to make a Vest from the Fair Trade Collection book out of this gorgeous Eco Cotton. It was time consuming for me and I am not in a good place for that right now! I needed more comfort knitting - so I ripped out the back of the vest and made this beautiful lap blanket - yes, for my Mother! The very simple lace pattern is free on Ravelry and was just a treat to knit up. Also, this yarn is hands down some of the softest cotton I have ever worked with - I really love it.
