Several of the Beans have been loving the Rikke Hat by Sarah Young on Ravelry, especially since this garter stitch design helps prevent color pooling for variegated yarns. Jenny loved the gray and purple variation in the December 2017 Semi-Precious Tosh color "Taaffeite," and she decided to knit up her own Rikke Hat to showcase the new colorway. She decided to go down a needle size so the hat would fit more snug around her head. She also topped her hat with a gray pom-pom for added contrast, and we love how it makes the gray in her hat pop even more. Nice work, Jenny!
