Leanne's Chain Reactions Shawlette

Leanne had been jonesing to crochet the Chain Reactions Shawlette (a FREE pattern available through Ravelry by Nicki Hirsch), and when presented with a hank of MJ Yarns Sophistisock, she finally had a chance to make it happen! The pattern is worked from the point up and made up of rows of chains anchored in a airy mesh-like fabric with single crochets. The design is more of a recipe than a set pattern, making it easily customizable and great for using up those skeins of sock yarn begging to become something in your stash. Leanne chose to crochet with a smaller hook than suggested, partially because she couldn't find the recommened size (a 3.0mm hook), and partially for a tighter fabric -she is super happy with the end result after blocking!
