During the holidays Jenn and Erika wanted to knit a little something for Bethany as a thank you for all of her hard work managing our operations team. They took turns knitting on this little shawlette until it was finished. Bethany had long been admiring the Knit Night color dyed by Sweet Fibre from last year's Micro Brew Series, but lamented that anything in fingering weight took her forever to knit. Luckily, Jenn and Erika were able to churn out this single-skein project in under a month and gift it to her just in tme for Christmas! The adjusted the pattern to work for a 100g skein instead of a 150g skein which is really easy to do with this pattern. Nice work ladies!
The
Hitchhiker shawlette pattern is available directly from Martina Behm on Ravelry.
Since the Sweet Fibre yarn used is no longer available, we are recommending Zen Yarn Garden's Serenity 20 yarn, but any one skein of fingering weight yarn that is anywhere from 100-150g will work.
