Priced from $154.00 to $308.00
This pattern evolved from my Butterfly/Papillon Shawl. This is a doubled version of that design, worked in the round. It has garter lines and stocking knit shapes. It is a natural evolution from the original and shows off the magic of the random and specific short row shapes, growing as the piece widens systematically. It introduces some new concepts in working in the round, like making short rows back and forth over the beginning of the round. This allowed the shapes to grow as they did in the original triangular shawl, but contended with different parameters.
Designed by Marin Melchior
