The coloration and markings of the Atlantic Bluefin Tuna inspired this graphic intarsia sweater. This piece is knit in Tosh Merino Light and is designed by Emalie Dam. The light colored speckle represents the lower body of the fish, while the blue and mustard represent upper body and fins.
There are so many thoughtful construction details in this sweater! The speckled front and back pieces are knit from the bottom up and are grafted together at the shoulders. The side panels are worked off the sides of the panels and knit outward to the side seams.
Please note that the patterns are only available in the R:E:D book. You can find the R:E:D book on our site.
