From designer Stephanie Lotven: This sweater is meant for those special gradient sets that you don't want to hide in your shoes. The Sock Arms Pullover is designed for sock yarn lovers who are looking for a non-sock project. The specially modified, set-in sleeves are seamless and simple to knit (like turning the heel of a sock, in fact). The modified sleeve cap allows for uninterrupted stripes on your sleeves.
We recommend Shepherd Sock & String Quintets for this project. How you use the String Quintets on the sleeves is up to you! You could stripe them every two rows, every four, alternate with some of your body color - the sky's the limit!
Note: Though we are only associating a single String Quintet for each size, the sleeves for the largest four sizes will require just a bit more than comes in a String Quintet. For these sizes - you may wish to add a second pack separately, or you could compensate by using some of your main color for the sleeves or in between stripes.
