would be 5 stars were it not for the tight pockets. Otherwise, this fits for what I want it for. I know things can move with shipment, but there should be a way to pack this so that the plastic pages don't get wrinkled.
I'm so disappointed. Was very excited to see this on sale and couldn't wait to get it in the mail. Rushed home from post office to open and was sooo sad. It looked used, dirty and damaged on the outside. The pages are so crumpled they are hard to use. Would have returned right away, but they don't allow returns on sale items this is probably why. I've bought sale items your years and have never received an inferior product. First time experience with this company was not favorable. However, if it would have come in nice shape it would have been perfect.
Beautiful color but not very functional (3 out of 5)
I have spent $$$$$ over the years trying to find attractive but functional needle storage for my sets of both fixed circulars and interchangeables. The closest I ever came was a Namaste case but even that wasn’t particularly easy to find my interchangeable tips in. The needle pockets were unmarked & too deep - the tips just got swallowed. And like ALL of my Namaste fake leather cases - it rapidly started to deteriorate & shred at the edges - even tho carefully handled & kept out of sunlight and humidity.
So I decided to give this Della Q case a try. I am able to secure my set of KP Square tips as well as my set of Karbonz tips easily. But when I try to fill just HALF of the sleeves with my 16” fixed Karbonz - the zipper wont close even half way! And for what these cases retail for - how about a zipper that closes from each end rather than just one side?
So here’s my question: WHY DON’T THE DESIGNERS OF THESE CASES ACTUALLY TRY USING THEM BEFORE SUCKERING FOLKS LIKE ME???
Here’s a suggestion: double the depth of the needle tip & sleeve section. That way we could actually put needles in those sleeves!!!
Portfolio was exactly what I needed for taking my needles and accessories with me. Plenty of room for circular and interchangeable needles. This will keep everything organized. Love the color as well.
At long last - the exact knitting tool folio I’ve always wanted! Incredibly sturdy with heavy duty zippers that slide easily. Love the colours offered and especially love the genuine leather trims.
I have two sets of interchangeable needles and cords in my case as well as multiple sets of straight and DPNs. As well, there are knitting tools stashed in zip pockets as well.
I am beyond impressed. Well worth the price!
A beautiful piece, but the pockets are very tight, so you can’t fit much in them. And I wish the plastic sleeves for needles were removable to give you the option of using that space to hold other things. As it is, its main function is as a circular needle holder.
