Transitions Tweed is a lovely gradient yarn in a cotton/acrylic blend that is perfect for lightweight accessories. The generous 150 gram skein has about 660 yards making it perfect for a medium/large shawl!
One skein is enough to make the following pattern which is free from the Trendsetter website:
I admit that I have not started a project with this yarn, but it is definitely not what I expected to receive. The description states, It comes thoughtfully packaged in a clear vinyl bag with a hole, so you can knit right out of it! Nope, no plastic wrap. The yarn consists of four loose plies, and I can foresee having difficulty with split stitches since the plies are not tightly twisted together. It resembles four strands of embroidery floss together. The yarn pulls from the center but was not encased in plastic to keep the skein together.
It was a sale item so I cannot return. Very disappointing.
making a shawl for my daughter, and this color is going to look perfect with a pair of jeans. Love waiting for the next color shift, just one more row LOL
