This pattern is so easy and fast to whip up. Everyone, including guys, get a twinkle in their eyes when they see it. I can hardly wait for the little guys I knit them for to see and wear them at Christmas. Beginners through advanced knitters will enjoy this pattern.
A boy met my girl and I made hats for them. They love the hats. The pattern design is great yet sizing is a bit off. I did alter the pattern as it was too small on my first attempt. I added 4 rows st stitch before decreasing and it fit perfectly
Spud & Chloe are my new fave! Clear directions!!! Well packaged not just a piece of paper. Even a place to write your own notes. This particular pattern did not need a chart, but it looks like the company includes them if applicable. I highly recommend this pattern!
This is a very cute hat for a baby gift. However, I would make some changes to the pattern. For the ribbing I would use a size 8 or 9 needle and do the ribbing for about 1 1/2 inches. I found the ribbing was too loose with the size 11. Also, the sizing, according to the pattern, runs a little big. Keep that in mind when choosing a size for your project. Overall, very clever and adorable.
