Handspun Hope Merino Wool Worsted Weight yarn is not only amazing yarn, it has an amazing and life-changing story. 120 women in Rwanda, the bulk of whom are surviors of genocide and living with HIV, tend a flock of Merino sheep at the base of a volcano. They care for the sheep and sheer them when it's time. Then they triple wash spin and dye the wool with dyes made from local Rwandan plants.
