Overall Chalet Rating: 4.3 out of 5 stars (4.3 based on 3 reviews)

Squishy, reasonably priced delight 5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
I just knit 5 hats with various colors of Chalet and Chateau brightly dyed version of Chalet. It feels wonderful to knit and makes light-weight yet super warm items. The chainette construction gives knits a really interesting texture and taps air in the alpaca fibers for extra warmth. One needs to be careful when tinking this yarn i may or may not have dropped a few stitches in my manic rush to finish Christmas knitting on account of the chainette construction but not a significant issue. I live this yarn and plan to buy lots more!

5 out of 5 stars (5 out of 5)
This is a lovely soft yarn that is like knitting a cloud. It is a chainette so it will snag with sharp needles. The finished product is light but very warm and there is no bleeding with hand washing and blocking. It's very drapey and has certainly kept me warm during the rotten Polar Vortex Deep Freeze. I'd knit blankets of this stuff and be happy with the buttery feel of it in my hands during the knitting.

Very soft but tends to snag.... 3 out of 5 stars (3 out of 5)
This is a wonderful, soft and drapey yarn. Just be warned that it tends to pull and snag on jewelry. Warm as can be!
