Churchmouse Classics Patterns - Koigu Beaded Beret

This playful beret makes the most of one precious skein. A little touch of beading "gilds the lily". And the knitting is easy-peasy -even with the beading rows you might get one finished in an evening or two. With all that, plus a shape that is timeless and flattering, this little beret makes the perfect gift.

Note: 1-2 packages of size 6 beads are required for this hat.

Churchmouse Classics Patterns - Magic Three-Yarn Scarf & Wrap

Our favorite lengthwise scarf takes advantage of the fact that, if you start with three yarns and change yarn every row, the next one you need will always be waiting right where you need it-as if by magic! Because you're changing yarns every row, you get a beautifully integrated fabric (not too stripey) with no wrong side. It's a great stash busting project, too!

Churchmouse Classics Patterns - Modern Wrapper

The Modern Wrapper walks the line between cozy and chic, snuggly and sleek; an oversized piece designed with thoughtful details to fit well and stay on the shoulders in a softly draping fabric to flatter every body. Wear it around the house, or dress it up a little for town. We mixed a strand of tweedy wool or smooth alpaca-blend fingering-weight yarn with lace-weight mohair on nice big needles for luxurious drape and a quick knit. Customize the fit by adjusting sleeve length.

Churchmouse Classics Patterns - Oval Crocheted Bucket Bags & Pouches

It all started with a straw backpack Kit found years ago at a New York street market. The bag is no more but Kit's sketch survived. We liked the capacious 'bucket' size, but preferred an oval base for less bulky proportions. We created a handy smaller version and kept scaling down 'til we arrived at zippered pouches, perfect for notions, cosmetics, projects... a bag for all reasons! Bucket bags come in two sizes, with options for drawstring or backpack straps. Pouches are also in two sizes, with instructions for adding a zipper and an optional fabric lining.
