Reno, NV – Get ready—the Sierra Nevada Yarn Crawl returns September 11–14, 2025, with Jimmy Beans Wool as one of eight official stops in this unforgettable fiber‑filled adventure!
This annual four-day, self-guided tour invites knitters, crocheters, weavers, and fiber fans to hit the scenic highways and storefronts spanning from Reno, NV to Auburn, CA.
Each day features in-store shopping, exclusive events, and shop-specific featured yarn kits accompanied by free patterns.

This free, multi‑day yarn crawl brings together eight independent yarn shops across the Sierra Nevada region. With in‑store demos, kits, swag, and a self‑guided passport program, the event is designed to celebrate creativity, community, and fiber arts.

- SNYC BIG Prize – Every $50 spent during the crawl earns you an entry into our store’s BIG prize drawing.
- Passport Raffle – Pre-print your passport, get it stamped at every store you go to between September 11-14, and then turn it in at your last store to be entered to win one of several prize baskets. The more stores you visit, the larger the prize basket you could win!

Featured Kits & Free Patterns – Get a specially curated kit at each participating store and unlock an exclusive pattern.
Swag & Stitch Markers – Collect a unique stitch marker at each stop (including Jimmy Beans Wool) as your keepsake gift—no purchase required.
Passport & Prizes – Bring your printed passport to each shop for a stamp. Visit four stores to qualify for the Lace‑Tier raffle, six for DK, or visit all eight to hit the Bulky prize level. Each local store will also run its own raffles!
