Are you ready for some football... and knitting?! We love fall time! The leaves, the weather, the food, the football, the chunky knits. What's not to love? This year, we're pairing two of our favorite fall pastimes together, football and knitting, to bring you our Blitz Beanie Football Hat! Available in 22 different team colors, you can show your support for your team AND for your craft, all-in-one!
Each kit comes with 3 balls of Berroco Comfort, 1 main color and 1-2 contrasting colors, the Blitz Beanie Football Hat pattern, a coordinating pompom, and a football tag. And, if you knit to gauge (this is important with this pattern!), you'll have enough yarn for 2 Blitz Beanie Football Hats! His and hers?! That's what we like to call a knit-down... knitting touchdown!
Don't see your team colors? Contact our customer service team, and we'd be happy to make you a custom kit!

Meet a Bean!
Ever wonder about the Beans behind the yarn? The Beans that pull your orders, answer your phone calls, and ship your Beanie Bags? This week, we introduce you to Nadia!
|
This is a bittersweet "Meet A Bean" for us - our sweet (Literally. She is famous for bringing sweet treats into the office every week! Thanks, Nadia!) Nadia is moving onto greener pastures next week. Nadia is a Marketing Bean who has been with us for just over a year, and we're so lucky to have had her! She is an absolute whiz when it comes to photography, and just about anything else marketing-related, if we're being honest!
Nadia we will miss your sunny disposition (she can turn even the grayest days bright!), your quick wit, your beautiful photography, and your marketing expertise! Also, your laugh, your ability to speak perfectly in any accent, and your singing and dancing!
The Beans are behind you, and we can't wait to see where this next chapter takes you! Hugs to you, friend!

We're proud to partner with Breastcancer.org, a non-profit organization, for the 2nd year in a row, in their mission to provide the most reliable, complete, and up-to-date information about breast cancer to those who must face this horrific disease. At Jimmy Beans, as a woman-owned and operated company, the prevalence of breast cancer really hits home for us. 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer - it is a far-reaching disease that has touched each of our lives in one way or another. We all have a friend, family member, or acquaintance that has faced their own battle, including our sweet HR Liaison, Mindy.
With your help, we are committed to providing Breastcancer.org with as much support as we possibly can. $5 from the sale of every Boobie Beanie, and $2.50 from each pink Wrist Ruler, will be donated to Breastcancer.org. Please join us in the fight against breast cancer!

Laura's back from Lambtown, and needs your help at Stitches!
|
Lambtown was a blast, and we were super grateful for all the face time and feedback from knitters like you. If you were there, thanks for stopping by! Things aren't slowing down for us on our 'tour' however, and we're headed to Pasadena for Stitches SoCal 2018 November 1-4! We're looking for help manning the booth, so if you are living in the Los Angeles area and would be interested in attending, here's the skinny:
|
We're looking for volunteers to come to Stitches and work the booth with us. You'd get to attend the show with a Exibitor's pass, and we'd need help talking to visitors in our booth about our newest products, SmartStix & Namaste bags! We'd only expect 4 hours of booth time, and then we'd cut you loose to go explore the floor or take some classes! (We'd send you off with a $50 store credit you could use on the website, OR in the booth that day, too!)
If you're interested, reply to this newsletter with the subject line: "I want to help in Pasadena!" and we'll get back to you right away. If you're attending Stitches this year but aren't interested in helping, that's ok! Just remember to stop by and visit us while you're there. See ya in Pasadena, friends!
