Bethany wanted to make this adorable little vest out of the Erika Knight Fur Wool for her daughter Penne but she didn't really have a pattern. So, in true Bethany style, she just made it up as she went. Basically, she cast on sts until the bottom edge looked like it was going to fit and then knit in the round in stockinette stitch until the vest looked long enough. Then she divided for the armholes and just kind of winged the neckline. The result is super cute and Penne really likes wearing her bear vest. She is just starting to talk and when you ask her 'What does the bear say?' she makes a 'Rawwwrr!' sound. Really cute!
For a similarly styled vest, we really love the
Pebble Vest, which is quite popular on Ravelry.
