Kelbourne Woolens Building Blocks: Scarves Kit - Scarf and Shawls Kits
This Building Blocks pattern is designed to be one of the only scarf patterns you’ll ever need! This pattern breaks down some of the intermediate-level techniques in order to make the knitting easy and enjoyable. The hope is that you not only learn something along the way, you end up with a fabulous scarf - or scarves - as well!
Three versions are designed in order of difficulty: Scarf A / Knitting. Scarf B / Knitting, purling. Scarf C / Knitting, purling, basic cables.
Each scarf requires two skeins of Germantown.
- Designed by Courtney Kelley
- Size US 7 (4.5 mm) - 24" circular needle (or size needed to obtain gauge) are required but not included.
- Notions required but not included: Locking stitch markers, cable needle, darning needle.
- Finished Measurements: Scarf A / 8" x 60"; Scarf B / 8.25" x 60"; Scarf C / 7.25" x 60", after blocking.
- Gauge: 17 sts + 30 rows = 4" in garter stitch;
22 sts + 22 rows = 4" in cable pattern, after blocking.

#338 (CC), 1 skein; Scarf C / Cabled Scarf: honey #708, 2 skeins.
