Watch out fir splits
This is a nice yarn, feels soft and smooth, nice for making cowls or other items that are worn next to the sensitive skin. Do watch out for the splitting honwever. If you don't have to take out any stitches, it will still knit up fine.

Sadly Lacking
I was drawn to this yarn by the featuring of the pattern book by JIMMY BEANS website. There is a distinct difference in the video review that shows 8 different colors I watched it 3 times to be sure. You can find these on our website. Well, you can't. Jimmy only sells 5 colors and none of them are the ones featured in the pattern book. Very dissappointed to say the least. I am calling them this morning. If I need to edit this review, I'll get back here.

Splits
I bought 7 colors of this yarn to make 2 scarves and am quite happy with the colors except #2104. It reminds me strongly of string! And yes, it does split a lot. I am using Knitters Pride circulars. If you split the yarn, it blends okay but if you need to tear it out and reknit because of an error, the split area becomes fuzzy. If you can avoid the splitting, I think you will be very happy with this yarn. My scarf is super soft and not scratchy. The other colors are very vibrant. I am knitting a scarf with circular stripes, 4 colors per scarf, and I think I can get 2 scarves out of the four colors. If I hadn't already wound #2104 I'd return it to Jimmy. Now I think I will use it as string!

Differences in Color
I bought this color way in both Sport and Honor yarn. They are unbelievably different in color. The Sport has bright bold vibrant colors. The Honor, by comparison, almost looks faded. Both are attractive. The Sport goes well with violent and purples. The Honor lends itself to pinks. Both are very attractive, just depends on the look you are going for. Be sure to buy all you need at the same time!

My Fsvorites
I love these needles! They feel good in your hands, and work well with all the kinds of yarn I use. The material used to make them does not drag on the yarn and the tips stay pointed. These are my first choice in needles. I only wish my LYN carried these.

Awful Yarn
If I could give this yarn a minus rating I would. Unfortunately Jimmy's site does not Allie this. This is NOT a soft yarn in fact it is very scratchy. It is NOT a heavy worsted. The colors are beautiful. It varies in weight from super chunky to a crochet thread weight every 6-8 inches. I didn't discover this until I was winding the first skein I bought 2. Also, the Kit by Jimmy includes a 10-1/2 circular needle. I can't imagine getting 112 stitches of the yarn on a 16 needle. In fact, the pattern calls for a 24 needle. The unwound skein will be going back to Jimmy.
