Grab Bag Dissapointment
I have reservations about leaving this review because JBW is my favorite yarn source but I feel I need to. I was very disappointed with the Large Pink/Purple grab bag I purchased on 5/27. The yarn choices were seasons ago discontinued, and even purchased at full price did not add up to anywhere near $100.00. All but 2 of the skeins are not carried by JBW anymore and one of the 2 is on clearance for $3.99. Thank goodness I purchased on Wool Watchers for $40.00. I guess I got what I paid for at the WW price. Seriously not the value I thought it would be. However I love JBW and will continue to use it as my #1 source for my knitting desires.

Sinply one of the worst yarns I've ever tried to knit!
I purchased for a sock pattern written specific for this yarn. The yarn is a single ʊlmost like roving) with a black thread wound around it. Yarn splits and the thread separates from the yarn and is near impossible to pick-up. I would not use for socks, will probably thin out and there is no stretch. The sock pattern knitted to gauge but the sock had cables and would not stretch to go around the foot. Maybe a scarf!

Great All Purpose Yarn
I just knitted lace and bobble afghan for a wedding present and the yarn is a great value.
Perfect for large afghans or blankets. Washer and dryer safe. A little stretchy but holds block well. Used 16 skeins for the project and still near $100.00.
