This makes into an elagent scarf
The Rozetti Marina knits up into a slightly smaller width scarf but is just as fun as the Katia ruffly yarn to work with. Second, these bright colors really look stunning on a dark blouse or sweater...Galaxy against black, Sunset against a navy or dark blue, the Holiday is just plain fun for Christmas these have no sparkle so I stitched some little red and green glass beads in the heavy boarder...you are going to have to hand swish these anyway for cleaning. Now I'm off to order more of the Seaside Sunset. All your fault! To make these scarves all the more fun, I bought large brimmed straw hats and used the ruffle scarves as a band around the hat and 2 tails hanging down the back. Shades of glory in days gone by...

A Must Have for Every Knitter
So I only have 1 set of needles the right size, the right connected. With these handy holders, I can slip off the old project and on with the new! When I get new yarn, I just can't wait to knit up a swatch and see how it looks all knit up. These holders save the day!

Back to wood
After years of working with metal circular needles, I decided to treat myself and get these beautiful needles. What a treat indeed! The barrel is smooth and they are extremely comfortable in my hands. I know it is silly, but my project just looks more elegant when these needles are strung with the yarn I'm using.

Changed My Mind
After I had been knitting with the Marina Glitz Yarn it seemed like it was not stiff as I first feared. It has that pink ridescent color and is slightly stiffer than I had first anticipated. But it would make a somewhat accepable substitute until a true while sparkle comes along. Meanwhile, I am trying the Broadway yarn whose yarn is a little closer to the Katia Trina but the aparkle is heavier and all on the edge. The Moda Lame from Filatruse di Crosa but is slightly lighter in weight and takes 2 balls to make the ruffle scarf. I'm waiting for Zerba to come inn to find out if it is a true white.

Should have rated it lower
Just got my order that included the Tundra Tuxedo. It is NOT black and silver more of a very dark brown and I can already see that the gray has a purple cast. It is crimped from the way the hank was tied. There is a long snag in one hank that has totally destroyed the pattern of the loops for several repeats. I think I mentioned the crimping and snagging before on this yarn. It is really soft tho. I'll be returning it to Jimmy a first time event for me. If you want black and silver, look for something else.

Stiff
This yarn very stiff and probably scratchy and is a big disappintment after having used Katia Trina Lux and Rozetti Marina, even Rozetti Tundra which snags. I wanted a sparkly white with the same loops for knitting as the Katia and Rozetti, which unfortunately doesn't come in a sparkly yarn, no one seems to make at true white sparkle except this one which I would not buy again! Darn, got 2 balls. The Rozetti Tundra's white has a pink irridescent in it and does snag pretty much. If they could get past the snagging, I'd go for it! I imagine other yarns of that type have the same problem. (See my review over there.) Without the glitz, the Katia Trina white is not a true white but a light cream or off-white color. You really see the difference when holding it next to a true white.

Maybe, Maybe not what you were expecting
This is beautiful ribbon-like yarn. I bought the black and the irridescent white. The problem is that it comes in a hank and that hank is tied very tightly in two places, tight enough that it schrunches the yarn and buckles the fibers that make up the ribbon. These do not straighten out! If it happens in the middle of a row, the next row covers it. If it occurs at the end of the row, on the end and it shows. It is also very easy to snag and these cannot be entirely worked out by stretching the ribbon horizontally. It is pretty tho. If you can live with snags, you'll be happy with it.

Fun Yarn
This is a fun yarn to work with and makes up into a beautiful, light, fluffy scarf. Beware of the white tho...it is not really white, more of a light cream. Too bad it is not a true white as it will really show the difference when worn with a true white coat/blouse/whatever.
