Dragon Skin Wrap pattern originally featured in the Holiday 2007 edition of Interweave knits that is now sold out. The pattern is available for download on the Interweave website $4.50. The original pattern calls for a yarn that is a merino wool/bamboo mix, and the CEY Wool Bam Boo was the perfect substitute. I was able to match exact gauge with the needles called for in the pattern, and it turned out wonderfully soft, with a nice drape, and a subtle
sheen. I can't wait to wrap my niece up in this little sweater. I think the pattern would work just as well with the Cotton Bam Boo, although that's not the one I used. The yarn was a dream to work with, and gives great stitch definition to the dragon skin pattern. I made the 18-24 month size 24 inches, and it 5 balls only a tiny bit of the 5th was needed. With the yarn left over a matching hat could be kind of fun.
