Leanne had these two skeins of Rowan Alpaca Colour burning a hole in her stash, so she decided to knit a two color hat with them! She had this hat in mind but couldn't find a pattern, so she found the honeycomb stitch in a stitch dictionary and went to work creating this lovely masterpiece. She says that the alpaca stretches out a lot and even though she went down three needle sizes for the brim from the body of the hat, she is still going to have to put some elastic thread in the brim to help keep it's shape. She is planning to knit up this design in another yarn though and hopefully will share it with all of us very soon!
