Heather's Eleanor Cowl
Heather's Eleanor Cowl

Description

When Heather saw this particular skein of Madelinetosh Tosh Sport in Terrarium, she knew she had to knit something special with it. The Eleanor Cowl by Audrey Knight, a free pattern from Knitty, was the perfect thing! It has a beautiful but fairly simple lace pattern that shows off the wonderful color variation in the hand-dyed yarn.

Because she didn't want the cowl to fit as closely around the face as the original pattern, Heather did not switch to a smaller needle for her last pattern repeat - she used the same size as for the body of the cowl. She worked the cowl in the round, but it can also be worked flat and seamed.
