Description I am a huge fan of Knitting Pure and Simple, so when the Top Down Lightweight Cardigan pattern was released, it immediately caught my eye. I added some lace detail to give it a little punch as well as multiple small buttons for a little extra pop. Diane's patterns are so fun to use and clear cut that I have knitted quite a few of them and always have fun! I love this sweater for layering and get compliments on it every time I wear it. I was going to make longer sleeves, as that is an option, but didn't pay attention to my hand-dyed Malabrigo yarn and should have stranded it to minimize the color variation, so keep that in mind when working with hand-dyes, but I love, love the cap sleeves too!
